Staying at La Marjolaine, you are in Pays de la Loire, on the banks of the Mayenne, 20 minutes away from Laval. In the hearth of its valleys, Mayenne contains unsuspected wealths and an authentic way of life. Its preserved nature, its lakes and rivers will fill nature lovers, such as the beautiful hikes you can do, by foot, bicycle or horse.

 Crossed from north to south by the Mayenne’s valley (fluvial tourism), its 85km long towing path is one of the most beautiful green ways of France, and shows wonderful landscapes such as bocage, rivers and wooded spaces. To take it, we have at your disposal some bicycles at the reception of La Marjolaine.

26 km far from the hotel, Laval, « city of art and history », presents an exceptional architectural heritage made with castles, religious buildings, museums and others monuments to visit such as the naive art’s museum, unique in Europe, the « bains-douches » or the laundrette boat.

If you come during the end of the year, you will be able to enjoy the wonderful show « Les Lumières de Laval » (Laval’s lights), that set the city into lights since 10 years.
